Well, as anticipated, our trip had to be
modified on the fly already. Our lesson learned here was, get to the campground before
nightfall for places that need reservations. If
you're headed to Jacksonville, we'd recommend camping at Fort Clinch State Park, though we
can't personally tesitify for the site. We drove past it though, and it was beautifully
set along the beachfront (Route A1A --- please see Vanilla Ice for more info on this ...
ha ha ha).
